First of all we will give the audience a brief overview of our narrative and trailer idea so they know what it is about and we will also ask them their opinions on the film name and characters. We made sure we came up with questions which weren't leading to ensure we get personal and real responses from our audience. Here are the questions we will ask:
- Define what you think a psychological horror is.
- What do you expect to see in a psychological horror?
- How do you expect a female to be represented within this genre?
- How do you expect a male to be represented within this genre?
- What makes an engaging horror trailer?
- What would draw in your interest into a horror?
*tell audience our film name, characters and read out narrative*
- What is your opinion on the narrative idea?
- Who do you expect to be the last one standing?
- What do you expect the antagonist to look like?
- Would you feel comfortable with stereotypes being challenged? For example having a female antagonist.
- Does "Oppression" seem a good fit for the name of our narrative?
- What does the work "Oppression" mean to you? What mood does it convey?
- Do you have any alternate ideas for a name of our horror?
- Do you think our trailer may give too much away?
- Do you think our trailer would leave you asking questions and why?
