'The Conjuring' trailer is a good example of 'a sting' at the end to leave the audience in fear of what is to come from the full film. I want to consider using 'a sting' at the end to leave the audience remembering the trailer as now I have watched this trailer, I want to show other people to see their reaction and if my group and I included this as a 'sting' at the end, this may make our audience want to do the same therefore making it more popular. However, it isn't just the shot which makes the audience jump, it is the sound which is in sync with the shot. In this trailer, it is the diegetic sound of the scream. Therefore, I want to consider using a close up image of Delaney covered in blood and mud in sync with a loud burst of non diegetic sound such as a bang or screech. I also want to consider using diegetic sound of Maddie screaming to leave the audience remembering the trailer and wanting to find out if Maddie is alive which will also meet the purpose of persuading our target audience to watch the full film
